Sunday, January 21, 2001 was a historic day for St. John Lutheran Church. Like a family that moves from the homestead to a 'new house in town' there was some ambivalence. We loved our little 1931 building, but it was little. Our family had grown, and so, by the grace of God and the goodness of God's people at St. John Lutheran,  we built a new house of God and a new place for God's people. Sunday, January 21 was 'moving in day'. Not everything was complete, but it was complete enough for us to move in.

And move in, we did, with 614 people in worship at a combined service and every one of them seemed thrilled to be able to participate in this historic day.  Sunday, January 28 we return to two services at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  And, with two services of worship, do you know what?  There is room for you. Come and bring a friend.

Before the first service the church bells rang for the first time. The wave sound is loading.  It may take a little time to load but it is worth the wait to hear our new church bells chime.
