Confirmation Retreat on the Ten Commandments
January 10-12, 2020 at Camp Chrysalis
For Youth in Grades 6-8
Games, a craft, and interactive experiences will enhance your congregational confirmation instruction as your youth explore the Ten Commandments. Your youth will gain a bigger view of the church as they play, study, and grow in faith with other confirmands. At least one adult sponsor is required to attend with the youth and to help them make the connection between camp and church. Youth will stay in a cabin with staff supervision and adults will stay in a cabin for adults. The retreat will be from Friday to Sunday morning. However, to accommodate those who must return to their congregations for Sunday worship, everything that happens after Saturday dinner will be recreational fellowship. This retreat is designed for youth from congregations with ten or less confirmands. Group registration is required.
