DETAILS:
St. John Lutheran Church of Boerne (“StJLC”) was contacted by anonymous donors who have contributed monies to the StJLC Scholarship Fund allowing us to award five $1500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Applicants must be StJLC members planning to attend an accredited college, university, vocational, or trade school. These scholarships are mainly need-based, but other criteria will be considered as well.
Please complete the application below by the end of the day on May 31. A committee of three StJLC members (without a family member who qualifies for the scholarship) will objectively choose the award recipients. We will notify the recipients by July 1.
Scholarship monies will be awarded by check AFTER the Fall 2026 semester and AFTER the recipient shows proof of having completed 12 credit hours or equivalent and earned a 2.0 GPA or equivalent at an educational institution.
