LOCAL VOLUNTEER/SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES

St. John supports many different organizations and coordinates efforts to help those in our community and beyond. We offer many opportunities for service locally, regionally, nationally and globally as we seek to be the hands and heart of God. We seek to invest our time, talents and treasure into meaningful service in Christ’s name. HILL COUNTRY DAILY BREAD MINISTRIES

A faith based ministry that provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support to more than 8,200 people living in poverty in the Texas Hill Country.

HILL COUNTRY FAMILY SERVICES

Hill Country Family Services’ (HCFS) mission is to provide programs and services to improve the holistic wellness of the individuals and families in Kendall County, Texas through counseling, food, clothing and emergency financial assistance. HCFS empowers our clients by assisting them in making healthy lifestyle choices and provides a connection to other community services and resources.

THE CENTER AT KRONKOSKY PLACE

The Center offers a variety of programs which span the social, health and lifestyle needs to ensure older adults stay active and engaged. From activities to fill leisure time to support of the homebound with wellness checks and meal delivery, The Center promotes opportunities to live longer and healthier lives.

BOERNE FOOD PANTRY

Provides healthy food for Boerne and Kendall County families in need.

 

 

BOERNE COMMUNITY COALITION

To improve the quality of life for children and families in our community by creating, connecting, and providing them with needed services and resources.

TAKING IT TO THE STREETS MINISTRY (TI2TS)

A Boerne based, ministry focused on feeding, clothing, and building relationships with the San Antonio homeless community on a weekly basis.

HILL COUNTRY PREGNANCY CARE CENTER (HPCC)

Empowers individuals to make Christ centered choices regarding pregnancy and sexuality, and to experience the healing power of Christ’s love.
