Seasoned Saints

Seasoned Saints is a ministry for adult seniors in our community. It’s a place to connect, grow, and encourage one another in faith during this meaningful season of life. Whether you’re retired, nearing retirement, or simply feel like you belong in the “seasoned” category, there’s a place for you here!

We gather for fellowship, friendship, faith-building, food, and fun—creating opportunities to enjoy one another’s company while continuing to grow in our relationship with Christ.

No age requirement—just a willing heart and a little seasoning!

We meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM for lunch and a program. Special events, outings, and trips will also be planned.

October 15, 11:30am-1pm

Join us for a special time (lunch will be provided) with Meg Grier, host of the podcast God and Our Dogs, as she reminds us that our stories matter.

The experiences, joys, challenges, relationships, and faith journeys that have shaped us are more than memories—they are a gift we can pass on to our families and to others. Meg will share why telling our stories is so important and how our experiences can encourage, teach, and inspire the people who come after us.

Come be encouraged to reflect on where God has brought you, what He has taught you, and the story He is still writing.

Please RSVP to Michelle Waters (michelle@stjohnlutheran.com) if you intend to come to the luncheon on October 15.
