Epic is our summer camp featuring high-energy sports and Christ-centered connections for youth, for ages 7-13.
Epic begins here but young campers leave these hills with lasting memories and life-changing insights from the Gospel. They grow in their own character through community and studying epic faith journeys in the Bible, and live out unbridled fun designed around intentional relationships.
This program centers on Biblical truths, sports, epic adventure and intentional relationships.
Using adventure and competition as a spiritual catalyst, we teach campers how to put their faith into action by developing a heart for Jesus and a desire to journey with God. The program uses devotionals, quiet time in scripture, and prayer to inspire daily rhythms for campers to be in God’s presence. They’ll also get to experience meaningful praise and worship. In addition, gospel truths will be shared in a variety of ways to fit everyone’s learning style.
Campers will hike the hills; soar high above the oaks; float the river; take a leap of faith; climb a mountain of a wall to kiss a fish; trek the backwoods; canoe at sunset; gather ‘round the bonfire under a blanket of stars; and journey on from here, full of faith—awakened by God’s love.

Cost for camp is:
$350 (members of St. John)
$975 (non-members)
Scholarships are available for families in need. We want your child to attend camp – it is a great place to grow in fellowship!
