The Story

Here’s what people are saying about The Story:

Stephanie: It’s awesome! Love sharing this with my family and even my 3 year old loves Blast! which covers the stories as well.

Judy: This study holds my attention and reminds me of things I had forgotten. I love the videos preceding the lessons. Very creative.

Heather:   I love it. My whole family is learning so much!

Marcy:  A wonderful way to review stories and put it all in a chronological perspective!

Michelle: Loving it! And I love seeing my kids reading their versions too

Leslie: I love to see my children learning all of the stories in the Bible and I love that my husband and I are re-learning the same story at the same time.

Connie: It’s exciting to realize that all of us, young and old, will know the stories of the Bible.  We’re asking each other regularly whether the next chapter has been read.

The Story
September – May

The whole family. The whole Bible. The whole year.

The Story is here at St. John! Our pastors are preaching through the major stories of the Bible from beginning to end. Our children and youth are diving deeper into those same stories in their Sunday morning classes. Adults also have an opportunity to join one of several Sunday morning classes focusing on The Story. The entire church is on the same page – literally – as we learn more about how our lives fit into God’s big story of redemption.

Dive deeper into The Story through one of the following Sunday morning opportunities:

9:30 am Getting To The Heart of God’s Story. A class for adults led by Richard Wagner. 10 minute DVD lesson by Randy Frazee, author of The Story, with follow up discussion. Room 118.

9:30 am Getting To The Heart of God’s Story. A class for parents led by George Klein. 10 minute DVD lesson by Randy Frazee, author of The Story, with discussion geared toward parents whose children are studying The Story at BLAST.

10:45 am The Story. A class for teens and adults led by Michael Brundeen interested in learning, applying, and discussing The Story.
